Natural Straight / Silky Straight

This hair is ready to wear right from the package. We do, however, advise you to wash this hair once every two weeks.

You will need:

· Clarify or purify shampoo. This removes excessive oils and prevents hair from feeling heavy and weighed down.

· Mild sulfate-free conditioner. We like to use a coconut-base conditioner, but you can substitute, as so long as it’s not overly moisturizing, which will weigh down hair.

· Wide-tooth comb which will work through tangles.

Care Instructions:

1. Use a wide-tooth comb to untangle the hair before you begin washing. Comb from the ends to the roots.

2. Use a generous amount of shampoo. Start from the roots of the hair, or the base, to the ends.

3. Allow water to run through the hair. Run fingers through the hair from the roots to ends. Do not wash hair aggressively, and use your fingertips to massage the shampoo into your scalp. Follow through with the same root-to-end motion until the water runs clear and the shampoo is out.

4. Apply a small amount of conditioner to the ends of the hair and leave out (natural hair). Using a wide- tooth comb, work conditioner through the hair and let it set for five minutes.

5. Rinse conditioner from hair by allowing water to run through until all the product is out.

6. Towel dry to remove excess moisture.

7. Allow hair to air dry or blow dry.

Do’s and Don’ts:

· In order to avoid hair getting weighed down, do not put leave-in conditioner or any other product in this hair. If you feel your hair needs products, first see how your hair manages without any products before making a decision.

· We do not suggest you co-wash this hair or add any oils.

· You may use shine products that are alcohol-free.

· Once hair is blow dried and flat ironed, if the hair becomes oily, looks weighed down or is in-between washes, use Rene Furterer dry shampoo. Just spray, wait a few minutes and brush out. This aerosol powder will absorb oils. Style as usual.

Helpful Tips:

· Re-install extensions every 6-10 weeks.

· Wrap hair at night or sleep on a satin pillowcase.

· Use ceramic heat tools or hot dog rollers to minimize heat exposure .

· Before reusing hair, take off extensions, follow washing instructions and allow hair to dry either overnight or by the use of a hair dryer.
